You said in https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=96&p=540&hilit=alsa#p540 that it works in Fedora, what version of alsa-utils does that Fedora install have? Make sure the system works as expected, and attach, to this report, the .txt file resulting from executing: pacmd ls > /tmp/pacmd-ls-working.txt then install alsa-utils, reboot, when/if the sound setup breaks, attach the .txt file resulting from executing: pacmd ls > /tmp/pacmd-ls-broken.txt Assignee:

mageia I have returned the sound card. So I can't test it any more. I think that now it is better to close the bug report, and you can save time for solving other bugs. If someone meets such a problem, he can re-open it. Status:
