When using urpmq -a to find a match on a string results are only returned for an exact match

For example
$urpmq -a apac
No package named apac

Due to fix for bug #2953, you now have to pass --fuzzy option.
I could make -a imply --auto though.

Mind you, adding --fuzzy does make it do a fuzzy search, which is sort of contradicting myself really.

So what does the -a switch do now?  The man page says it returns " all matches on the command line"

How about making -a synonymous with -y so people expecting the old behaviour still get what they want?

Sorry, but this bug saw no action since over 2 yrs ago - no cauldron package has stayed the same - and is still assigned to Bug Squad.
