That new kde update also brought that locked pop up as kde started. Nothing would get past it or characters show up when entering password until KDE was farther along. I was talking to $DEITY until I figured out what was going on. On my slower system the 30 seconds to get past it was pretty irritating. valid 3beta2 Priority:
