Description Jeffrey Bruton 2012-12-10 03:17:03 CET
Description of problem:
The options to Shutdown and Reboot are no longer included in the "Logout LXDE Session?" dialog. There is now only "Logout" and "Cancel" in this dialog. This requires the user to Logout using the above dialog, and then hit the "Exit" icon in the lower right of the resulting screen and pick Shutdown or Reboot from the drop down (which actually drops upward) list. This requires many more keystrokes/mouse clicks to shutdown or reboot the system. Previously it was two keystrokes to shutdown: Ctrl + Esc (to bring up the above dialog) and then Enter (to select Shutdown. New versions of the OS or DE should make the product easier to use, not harder.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Mageia 3 Alpha 3

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install M3 A3 off any media and choose LXDE as the DE.
2. Once logged into the LXDE environment, hit Ctrl + Esc to bring up the "Logout LXDE Session?" dialog.
3. Notice there are no options in the dialog for Shutdown and Reboot (like there used to be).

Icon in lower right corner of screen is actually labeled "Quit" not "Exit" as mentioned above in the description.
