ennael1, mageia Hello, I just try to make a Live usb with the live CD Mageia3-beta 1 KDE, and the problem subsist ! Same problems as above. have a nice day. I realise that this bug is now 2 years old, but the same behaviour is still apparent with Mageia 4. It really restricts the usefulness of having a Mageia live USB stick if it can't be used as an ordinary USB key. Is there any chance of this being changed back? CC:

gotang I don't ever recall having the possibility to create a booting USB stick while still using it as a read/write data storage medium. Yes, we used to create the "resize me" partition... but iirc the feature broke by a newer isohybrid, and no-one has really had time / interest in debugging / fixing it... I do have some ideas but as usual the problem is finding the time...
