ASSIGNED This may be a stupid question, but where do I find modules.order and modules.dep? kmod-7-7.mga2.src.rpm installed without problems, but so far I'm not sure how to test. CC:

wassi urpmf would have told you it's provided by the kernel. You can check that every needed modules are loaded with new kmod as they were with older one. The actual fix can only be tested on some machines. Thomas, you should have added reference to bug #5833 ...

philippedidier Can we validate it then? Not sure if it fixes the problem but at least it seems to work :) Validating the update. Could someone from the sysadmin team push srpm kmod-7-7.mga2.src.rpm from Mageia 2 Core Updates Testing to Core Updates. Advisory: The depmod command does not respect modules.order when used with compressed kernel modules that are used by default in Mageia. This update resolves the issue. https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8227 Keywords:
