I just saw that the kwrite issue is also importantsince many default file associations use kwrite as default handler for text-files: the default action to open a text file in Dolphin does not work any more

Description of problem: Using a desktop item (or hitting a corresponding KDE menu item) fails for some KDE components since the recent update to KDE 4.9.80). - Launching a desktop item for kwrite fails with an error popup window: A KDE text-editor component could not be found. Please check your KDE installation. - Launching a desktop item for konqueror fails with an error popup windows There was an error loading the module KHTML. The diagnostics is: The plugin 'libkhtmlpart' uses an incompatible KDE library (4.9.80). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): followed by other error popup windows if you pursue In both cases, the string furnished in the Exec=<command> string of the desktop item works perfectly if submitted as a command-line in a konsole How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a desktop for launching "kwrite" or "konqueror" - for instance with with kmenuedit 2. Put this item on the desktop and hit the icon This problem is serious since customized desktop menus, resp. some of their items, have stopped working with the recent KDE upgrade - for example an item that does "konqueror man:/" and that is one of the recommended and easy ways to get a nice KDE manpage viewer. I checked (at random) some other desktop items that launch Kde components (e.g. kfind) - most of them work, but that is how I found that not only konqueror, but also kwrite launching is broken. I dont know which kde package is at fault (probably kdebase4-runtime-4.9.80-1.mga3) - and I assume that the kwrite and konqueror issues have a common origin. If necessary, I could submit 2 separate bugs, my priority goes to fixing the launching of konqueror.
