UPSTREAM I also have this problem with krunner whether I launch with Alt-F2 or from a konsole. I have an additional line of information when run from a Konsole: krunner(5632)/libplasma Plasma::Package::isValid: Could not find required file mainscript I am running a regularly updated Cauldron and have never run urpme --auto-orphans.
