Description of problem:

Mageia 2 contains Lyx 2.0.3. Last week Lyx 2.0.5 was released, which contains many bugfixes.

Please update the package available in Mageia's repositories.

We don't upgrade packages to new versions, except security upgrades.

https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Support/Advisories/MGAA-2012-0225 or https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Support/Advisories/MGAA-2012-0172 doesn't seem security updates. It says they are bugfix updates.

Anyway I don't plan to discuss the policies (this is not the right place), but reading the above advisories I think you just could have given a different reason such as the lack of manpower for testing packages or something like that.

Please don't misinterpret me, I think you are doing an awesome work in the distribution.
