Steps to Reproduce:
1. clean install Mageia-3-alpha3-x86_64-DVD.idx, apply updates
2. urpmi bind
3. symlinks -r / | grep dangling

also missing /etc/logging.conf -> /var/lib/named/etc/logging.conf

bind-9.9.2-3.mga3 fixed the problem.
