mageia 3 a3 with all updates
nouveau driver

with icewm

i think it is not the same pb as bug #6596

and there is now a solution

i worked with the former main dev of gspca driver JF Moine (moinejf at free.fr)

there is now 2 patches :

one for webcam using gspca_stv06xx driver

mandriva 2010.2 i586 with kernel 3.5.4, 35.7, 3.6.5
rosa 2012.1 beta 2 x86_64  with kernel 3.6.8

- Mib Nicolo Constenza (abitrules at yahoo.it)
tested 3 models: Trust/Philips/TechMedia

rosa 2012.1 x86_64 with kernel 3.6.8

- Rosalabs

they are currently testing

so please port the patches to the kernel of mageia 3

also why not porting to kernel of mageia 2 if using kernel 3.5 ?

there is no pb with 3.4 for webcam using stv06xx

for those using ov534 i don't know
