The upgraded package is in testing. I haven't had time to do any testing yet.

I have tested it by actually upgrading a mga 2 box.
I also upgraded the one in mga 1 (yes I know it's getting towards EOL, but a few folks will continue to use it)

OK on Mageia2 32 bits
tested with clamtk

NB clamtk shows that clamav is up to date ...
that the virus database is OK

but shows, too, that clamtk itself is not up to date (Mageia2 version is 4.37 and a new version 4.42 exists since september)
That needs an other bug report...

You can actually test this if you feel it needs it Marc using the eicar 'test virus' string.

tested with this file...
downloaded it
opened with clamtk ( updated by myself) using clamav from the updates_testing repo.
It's recognized as suspect
a warning window opens and proposes to delete it
the "delete" button effectively deletes the file

MGA2-32bits OK

Tested x86_64 too with eicar & freshclam

Validating

SRPM: clamav-0.97.6-1.mga2.src.rpm

Advisory:

This updates brings clam up to date which prevents the warnings that it is outdated.

Could sysadmin please push to core updates
