What happens if you remove ~/.cache/sessions? CC:
(none) =>
jani.valimaa No nothing. Same result : i see the mouse pointer a few seconds and then, back to the commnand line. Which display manager are you using? Does /var/log/Xorg.0.log, ~/.xsession-errors or dmesg say anything intresting? BTW, I'm using Xfce with Intel GPU [1] without any problems. [1] Card:Intel 810 and later: Intel Corporation|N10 Family Integrated Graphics Controller [DISPLAY_VGA] Debugged a bit and it seems that we're currently shipping display.xml config file with mageia-xfce-config pkg which causes a black screen after login and/or some other weird things. Please remove/rename file /etc/xdg/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.xml and try again with a fresh user or backup and remove ~/.config/xfce4 from existing user. We confirm : this bug is fixed. Thanks ! This bug is fixed in latest mageia-xfce-config. Closing as fixed. Status:
