n54 I downloaded and installed "2012.10.09" version (mentioned above), in my typical Mageia 2 system, and it seems to work fine... So, adding this rpm to the updates should fix the problem... You can install the latest version from the French community's repository "mlo": ftp://download.asso-linux-online.fr/download/packages-mlo/Mageia/3/x86_64/core/youtube-dl-2013.08.17-0.1.mga3.noarch.rpm thanks to 3rd party repositories it is possible to have updated software. Specially for programs like youtube client, this is indispensable. CC:
