Description Kristoffer Grundström 2012-10-28 14:05:53 CET
Description of problem: I went to poedit.net & saw that they've released an even newer and stable version then the one that's in Cauldron-repos & I therefor desided to build a local version of it. That worked fine, but as I built a package from the same dir I couldn't get a gui to appear. The error is explained in the attached file.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.5.4

How reproducible: Everytime I try to start it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open your webbrowser.
2. Go to poedit.net.
3. Download the source-file from sourceforge.net
4. Extract it & do the usual stuff like ./configure && make (make -jX where X stands for more than one CPU-core if you've got more than one) && make install.
5. Start it to see that it works.
6. Now type make uninstall.
7. Now extract the created tar.gz-file & add the poedit.spec-file from svn & pack it once again back to tar.gz
8. Type rpmbuild -ta poedit-1.5.4.tar.gz & let it build.
9. Install the package/s that's built.
10. Run poedit from menu.
11. No gui.

3.3.8-netbook-2.mga2 is the affected kernel.

The program 'poedit' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.

anyway no need to report issue that YOU see with YOUR build on YOUR computer with Upstream project as we can do nothing.
