VDR fails on startup with the following error: vdr: fcmatch.c:958: IA__FcFontSort: Assertion `result != ((void *)0)' failed This is the case whether run from the /bin/runvdr script or directly: Should it help, this is command line I'm trying to use (I've tried variants on this with less switches, even pairing it down to the basic startup parameters possible - makes no difference) vdr -c "/var/lib/vdr/config" -l "3" --no-kbd -v "/home/netean/Videos" -u "vdr" -g "-" -P"status" -P"hello" -P"mplayer" -P"xvdr" -P"osdteletext" -P"wirbelscan" -P"dvbsddevice" -P"quickepgsearch" -P"conflictcheckonly" -P"streamdev-server" -P"dvdswitch" -P"wapd" -P"femon" -P"dvbhddevice" -P"mp3 --cache='/var/cache/vdr/mp3/id3' --cddb='/var/cache/vdr/mp3/images/cddb' --icache='/var/cache/vdr/mp3/images'" -P"streamdev-client" -P"tvonscreen -l '/usr/share/vdr/chanlogos' -v '/var/lib/vdradmin/vdradmin.at'" -P"xineliboutput" -P"epgsearchonly" -P"epgsearch" DVB tuner is Not in use VDR has permissions for all folders listed above. The error seems to indicate a font issue: But I'm sorry I'm not skilled enough to tell and hope I'm logging this under the right application?
