Did you install Nvidia driver as packaged by Mageia or directly from nvidia website? Keywords:

NEEDINFO The driver was from the package manager (MCC) and not the driver from nVidia website. Just to add in case it matters, the driver installed was for the GF108 [GeForce GT 430]. Removed Needinfo because the the requested info is given. Roelof Keywords:

(none) Changing version to Cauldron for keeping this request. When Mageia 2 will be in End Of Life in a little more than one month, we will close these version bugs. If the package is present in Mageia 3 or Cauldron, you can close this bug. Thanks. -- Mageia Bugsquad Version:

Cauldron Hi Dariusz, is this issue still valid in Mageia 4? It seems to me that lib64vdpau1 is a dependency of the nvidia driver, see: $ urpmq --whatrequires lib64vdpau1 ffmpeg gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad lib64directfb1.7_3 lib64gstvdp0.10_0 lib64myth0.27 lib64vdpau-devel lib64vdpau-trace lib64vdpau1 lib64xine2 mplayer vaapi-driver-vdpau vdpauinfo vlc-plugin-common x11-driver-video-nvidia-current x11-driver-video-nvidia304 Closing the bug, feel free to reopen if it's not what you meant.
