Description Barry Jackson 2011-04-11 20:50:41 CEST
Description of problem:
The KDE panel icon information bubble for MCC just says "Configure your Computer".

Surely it should say "Mageia Control Center" with maybe a second line "Configure your Computer"

The systemsettings bubble says "Configure your Desktop" TWICE. Again this should probably say "System Settings" on the second line - although this is possibly more controversial - perhaps "Personal System Settings" may be better.

I have been pushing for this for a long time in Mandriva, with no changes.

So, maybe with a community decision this could happen in Mageia from the first release? ;-)

Please open a separate report about the systemsettings issue.

I agree about changing the name to "Mageia Control Center"...

mcc description has been changed in svn (control-center). Waiting for translations before releasing package

On a beta2 livecd install I see "Mageia Control Center" when hovering over its icon in kde. So I think the status could be changed to "solved".
