I have a main mga2 installation and dual boot with mga3 on some partitions I use for testing installations.

The installer offers to upgrade the mga3 but not the mga2 installation. The only other option is Install.

I have just one swap partition on the drive and each installation has separate / and /home partitions.

I'll add a screenshot later.

Closing invalid as this is caused, obviously when you think about it, by installing i586 and it not offering to upgrade an x86_64 system.

With an x86_64 ISO it does offer to upgrade the x86_64 installation but not the i586 test system.

So nothing wrong and all is well :)
