Description Vincent Billette 2012-10-08 15:36:32 CEST
Mageia 3 alpha 1 32 bits on an old laptop (Pentium M, 1 Go DDR II, GPU Intel 128 Mo)

I tried to use Xfce with Compiz (Nor Gnome and KDE are installed).

Problem : there's no way to use the Cairo based window decorator. I installed gconf-editor and fusion-icon to switch between cairo and metacity but the windows have always the following look :

Hi,

It seems that for whatever reason, our compiz has problem with pulling metacity theme from gconf.

You can use the option --metacity-theme THEME on commandline of gtk-window-decorator in window decoration plugin (see screenshot for example)

Is this bug still valid in Mageia 4 and/or Mageia 5RC?
