Description of problem:
the app icons of the applications added to chromium browser are offline grey instead of colored. 
Apps are working offline but the internet connection is active and working.
It seems a known problem in the Chromium dev page (see issue 117973).

Sorry, but this bug saw no action since over 2 yrs ago - no cauldron package has stayed the same - and is still assigned to Bug Squad.
