Description Jeffrey Bruton 2012-09-30 23:13:01 CEST
Description of problem:
In the "Please Choose A Language To Use" install screen "English (American)" is selected and highlighted by default. If a user wants to accept this choice and move on by immediately hitting the Enter key, nothing happens. In fact nothing happens no matter how many times you hit the Enter key after the initial press mentioned above. Screen should appear with the "Next" button highlighted so an immediate pressing of the Enter key selects the default language and moves to the next install screen.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot off install DVD.
2. Look at the "Please Choose A Language To Use" screen.
3. Immediately press the Enter key (in hopes of selecting the default language and moving to the next install screen).
4. Nothing happens.

Still valid in current installer. But IMHO it is so minor (only applies when mouse or touchpad not working) that it is nearly negligible.
