as the alpha1 is not on mirror, from where have you pick it ?
from the QA one ? it's the last iso build from yesterday ?

ok I have seen your comment on the QA list, so I guess it's yes,
have you burn the iso on a CD or use an usb key ?

Comment 4 Marcello Anni 2012-09-15 18:38:51 CEST
i've burn the iso on a cd
Comment 5 Manuel Hiebel 2012-09-15 23:48:16 CEST
have you check the md5 ?
Comment 6 Marcello Anni 2012-09-16 14:17:18 CEST
yes, checked. ISO burned on a rewritable disc with k3b, the process went fine.

Hi Marcello

You may try to burn on a writable disc (CD-R or CD+R) ... not a rewritable CD !

I remember having problems when using an ISO burned on a rewritable disc ( even when the burning process went fine !)

Test it this way...

in fact this morning i've tried another disc (rewritable dvd :) and it worked. it was that rewritable CD that is corrupted, the alpha 1 is great :-)

cheers,
Marcello
