3alpha1 When setting up the network interface using Mageia Control Center, make sure that the check boxes "Allow users to manage the connection" and "Allow interface to be controlled by Network Manager" are ticked. Then, if still no luck, you might want to try the workaround described at Comment 8 in Bug 6936. CC:
