After installation of Mageia 2 on my new PC the following rebbot failed.
The PC hangs short after the Grub menue. The screen shows chaotic chars and colored blocks. I see no possibility provide a logfile.
I try several installations with different grafic settings (resolution, Geforce, vesa etc.) but always the same behaviour. 

The system is build witht core i7-3770 and Nvidia GTX670.

Can anybody help?

I solved the problem.

The kernel needs the options nokmsboot and nomodeset.

Than it works fine.

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
Resolution: (none) => FIXED
