 mythtv-setup Segmentation faults

How reproducible: always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. clean install of Mageia-3-alpha1-x86_64-DVD.iso all updates applied.
2. click up a terminal
3. su - root
4. systemctl start mysqld.service
5. systemctl stop mythbackend.service
6. mysql --user=root --password=secret < /usr/share/mythtv/initialdb/mc.sql
7. exit
8. \rm -rf $HOME/.mythtv/*
9. mkdir -p $HOME/.mythtv/ 
10. mythtv-setup
11. Click Save

Temporary workaround solution: 
Disable desktop effects. 
log out/in and mythtv-setup does not segfault.

3_alpha3: workaround solution does not work. :(  
clean install, all updates applied.

No idea what has fixed the problem.
