I also attempted to run sudo service virtualbox start and sudo chkconfig virtualbox on, but there is no vboxsrv as mageia provides the kernel mods themselves. Sorry, forgot system Mageia 2, x86_64 Phenom II x6 1090T, 16GB ram. Worked Now after a reboot, tho usually I do not have to reboot for it to work. first you should said that this package come from testing.. second as no bugs was assigned to the QA maybe the updates is not ready ? third this is not really a bug I think as the kmod-vbox works only after a reboot or an manual loading iirc CC:
