Description Barry Jackson 2012-09-09 01:39:23 CEST
Despite checking the "Use status icon" in Edit -> preferences the app fails to drop to the tray when closed. Most annoying.

I also used :

gsettings set org.gnome.gnote use-status-icon true

... no different, so it's not the gui failing to pass the message on ;)

This works OK in mga2 version.

This problem originally started with changes to gnote related to gnome3, but these were fixed upstream a while back - seems someone broke it again.

I use it in KDE4 BTW.

Adding Funda to cc as this version (3.5) was committed by him.
I have put a link to this bug on the gnote ML.

not sure if it's the same but there is an upstream bug relating to kde:

Does gnote-3.5.0-2.mga3 works better?

Sorry I missed this version as it was in skip.lst, but in 3.6.0 it is fixed :)

Thanks.
