Pre Mga3 alpha1 default gnome installation

Can Xchat-gnome be configured to join #mageia by default as with other desktop IRC clients?

It currently has no autojoin set up.

It joined ok when I selected freenode and entered #mageia in the channel list box which opens. when typing /join #mageia into the server window though it does nothing.

I guess that's a separate bug though.

Sorry, but this bug saw no action since over 2 yrs ago. 
No cauldron package has stayed the same since then.
