The GDB Crash backtrace
This is the GDB backtrace. There is a lot of JavaScript functions' recursions there, so it may be a stack overflow.

The steps are: 1. Create a new Firefox profile. 2. Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/jamendo-album-downloader/ and install the extension. 3. Restart firefox 4. Go to the URL in the bug report: http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a112988/once-we-were-angels-single 5. Boom! Mageia's firefox crashes. ------------ I should note that even if I disable this particular extension, then the Firefox Extensions page is very crashy. Regards, -- Shlomi Fish OK, a workaround to this patch is to do as root: 1. urpmi lib64proxy-webkit . 2. urpme lib64proxy-mozjs . So it seems like a duplicate of bug 6299 . |
