euh I really not see where is a bug here, kde/qt team opinions ? CC:
(none) =>
balcaen.john you just need to do updates. This is just because you half updated you Qt so this is not a bug. Status:
NEW =>
RESOLVED It's better to downgrade in this case, updating is better way not always. Status:

REOPENED It's strange because you should also have KDE pulled during upgrade (& it was built with current Qt available in updates) I never update system. I update only programs. It's big problem to have no downgrade option If user wants to cancel new version and wants old version. please give the output in a terminal of : rpm -qa | grep 4.8.1 rpm -qa | grep 4.8.2 (In reply to comment #5) > I never update system. I update only programs. It's big problem to have no > downgrade option If user wants to cancel new version and wants old version. Then you should disable Updates media... Also could you be more precise about the problem faced ? Which program did you install to get this issue ? Now I installed new system, because problem was critical. I sure: If any qt component are updating without full update of system, then other installed qt components must update. You still did not explain how you did reach this issue : If you do not *want* to update your system then you need to *explicitly* disable the updates media. We do not support « cherrypicking » of updates media. How much as i look as this bug it is invalid & i'm closing it like this (like it was before). Status:
