Certainly because the mga package is not on DVD. Because the mga package exists. CC:

mageia No, it was a network install. But thge problem is MGA package is older than MDV one : 3.3.10 is released, and my MDV system was updated before upgrading to MGA. So the bug is now : 'please update phpmyadmin RPM to 3.3.10 ;-) , to get a better upgrade from Mandriva. Component:
