Description Frank Griffin 2012-08-21 13:30:00 CEST
The calendar popup for the KDE clock applet appears to be locked to the applet itself as to position.

If the applet is too far to the right on the panel (which is the usual place to have it), then the calendar spills off the right edge and can't be moved back on to the desktop.

It appears that when the new right-hand sidebar was added to the calendar, it wasn't figured into the size of the calendar for placement on the desktop. I'm guessing this because almost all of the not-visible portion consists of that sidebar. In previous versions, the calendar itself was aligned with the right edge of the desktop.

In my case, the panel has, starting from the right edge going left, the panel toolbox, a six-element desktop chooser (two rows of three), and the clock applet. The screen resolution is 1366x768.

This is mentioned as one of several issues in the referenced upstream bug.

In 5Beta3 this appears to have been resolved even though there is nothing further reported in the referenced upstream bug. All of the calendar is shown. Would you please confirm in case I have misunderstood the issue.

No reply, and it works fine here in cauldron, so closing as fixed.

Feel free to reopen if needed.
