A security update for avidemux is available in mga1 since 2012-08-04, it is version 2.5.4-5.3.mga1, but it is only available un core/updates and is not available in tainted/updates whose most recent version is 2.5.4-5.2.mga1.

So for those who installed the tainted version it will be replaced by the core one without many codecs, unless they tell urpmi to skip the new version (so missing the security update).

Please, submit avidemux update also to tainted, thanks.

See the initial comment in Bug 6955, the tainted version *was* mentioned in the advisory.  Thomas, please push the tainted update to updates.
