Some packages are very big (eg: games data).
Updating them can take time (download them locally then commit them into SVN).
Even with a fiber line (eg: 100Mb/s), the upload bw is limited (5mb/s).
It would be easier if we could use mgarepo to trigger a download of a new source directly from the SVN and commit it

Well, as soon as we get the packager buildhost tested & fixed/rma/... people can log into that and download/commit...

Hello,
I can give an help by hacking mgarepo, but I need first to figure out what is exactly the process and the commands to use to execute the process at least manually.
I do not know yet this scheme.

TBH, I think this should be the only allowed way to commit a source

I'm not sure everything needed was already done on sysadmin side. No one re-assigned this report from sysadmin team back to BugSquad or to pkg-bugs@ml.mageia.org
