Description of problem:After an update I found myself with KDE in English rather than Italian
The problem is that KDE is now impossible to find in Italian
Â  Note that as a normal user in locating the Italian systemsettings does not appear in the list of languages ââavailable as well as root is all in Italian and Italian appears in the list of available languages
Mageia Even running in safe mode everything is perfectly in Italian
All packages are properly installed at the location

I have read this wrong but I believe that the same problem
The problem occurred after an upgrade before it was perfectly in Italian

which upgrade did you install?
Just in case the italian kde-l10n is still installed?
Do you reproduce with the xguest user?

The package kde-l10n-en-4.8.2-1.mga2.noarch is installed
Also starting in as xguest remains the problem

i'm not sure.
bug 4236 is about a non automatic configured language, while here the user does not see his language available at all while the kde-l10n package is installed.
