I have met me also this problem. I reproduced it only when I leaving the VM running in the background and when I do another task on physical machine. When I keeping the mouse cursor active in the VM, I have not reproduced it. CC:

mageia hmm, yes, i also left it running in background was it multicore for you too? Yes vbox VM with 4 cores and 1gb ram with the x86_64 DVD beta I saw this pb also with alpha 2 Please always try and fill the RPM Package field. Source RPM:

RESOLVED i just tested this on a vbox install with 4cores and 4GB RAM, the install hangs at 2min until finish installing. can someone reproduce? Status:

Can you attach a compressed tarball of all /root/drakx/* ? Also, are you sure it's not a virtualbox bug? See eg "fixed sporadic recompiler crashes with SMP guests " in https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Changelog CC:

thierry.vignaud i have no idea if it is or isn't a virtualbox bug. I just have this issue during install, i did not compile anything. it's not 100% reproducable, but almost always it has it at some time during install. Please try latest vbox Keywords:
