A problem reported to me on irc, is that on some machines evolution does not start.

ps aux  | grep evolution           


show evolution start but nothing appear on the screen.

what kind of infos are needed to help the debug of this issue ?

Sorry that we didn't reply to it before, we are short on active bugsquad members. :-(

I'll cc funda and ovitters, who have most often pushed evolution. I hope they'll answer your question, even if the problem is maybe already solved.

If it still exists: in which Mageia versions is that?
