I've submitted mariadb-5.5.25-1.mga2 for update testing.

This is a bugfix release with various fixes. I've also added an upstream patch that should fix a problem coling was having with spatial queries.

please test mariadb for regressions

@coling: please check if this fixes your issue.

some things to test:
 - see if update work
 - general tests, just update and check for regressions
 - test some things that rely on mariadb: like akonadi(KDE), phpmyadmin, drupal, etc...

Testing complete on Mageia 2 i586 for the srpm
mariadb-5.5.25-1.mga2.src.rpm

For testing, used phpmyadmin to create/drop a table, and kontact to create
a new contact entry.

Been testing today on Mageia 2 x86_64.

No problems encountered after a day of normal (quite intensive) general usage including using UDFs (custom compiled user defined functions), complex queries and joins and the spatial queries that previously crashed thing for me for which a patch was included.

Validated from my perspective for this set of uses.
