Description of problem:

When I'm running fontconfig-using applications such as gedit, gvim or konqueror, then fontconfig emits many warnings:

I've removed those two files, which are not used any more for recent distros.

For /etc/fonts/conf.d/50-user.conf, it is sipped by upstream. The warning is wanted. Please move your ~/fonts.conf to ~/.config/fontconfig/fonts.conf
