Hello, could you package safecopy? This package is already available in Mandriva repos (http://svn.mandriva.com/viewvc/packages/updates/2010.1/safecopy/releases/1.6/1mdv2010.1/)
I join a spec file for the version 1.7
I do not have old devide to test the package but it seems to wrok correctly.

Thanks, probably it is better to have it in Mageia 1 and 2. Yet, personally, I use Mageia 2.

The package safecopy is available in Mandriva 2010.x but was missing in Mageia 1 and Mageia 2 (so upgrades were broken). This update fixes this issue by providing safecopy to Mageia distribution.

Note that you need to specify a destination file name, not just
a directory.
