Description Simon Putt 2012-06-25 23:45:21 CEST

Requesting these packages, as some can only be found on a 3rd party repos, and I understand that Mageia would prefer that things be on distro repos only? also it is included in Mandriva 2010.2 and I was told (MrsB) that is was usually policy to include it if they did.

Sorry for the long list. Maybe I could help how do I build locally in a Chroot? I did read about iurt? Not sure, but how do I alter the .specs for Magia, Some help would be nice tho, cant test them all by myself.

Sorry I forgot to mention and was reminded in the channel, Most of these are also in /release and /contrib, (Of Mandriva) I only thought it prudent to link to the latest version of the SRPM, the non-free packages I would assume would go into Mageia /tainted?

Ok.  They have to be in Main/Contrib Release/Updates to qualify for the exception
to be added as a Core Update for Mageia 1/2.

Anything in Non-free in Mandriva would go in Nonfree in Mageia.

Tainted is the equivalent to PLF-Free.  Mageia doesn't provide packages that are
in PLF-Non-free.
