Description of problem:

/etc/autofs/auto.master installed by the autofs package contains:

#
# Include /etc/auto.master.d/*.autofs
#
+dir:/etc/auto.master.d

This is a difference from Mandriva 2010.2, so it is a fairly recent change.  The "problem" is that this directory does not exist.  It seems that if the default configuration is set up by to look there, that the RPM should have created it (if only to help assure it is created with appropriate ownership and permissions.  If this is not done, then it seems perhaps the configuration file should have that line commented out.

Install the package and look at the installed /etc/autofs/auto.master file content.

http://www.mail-archive.com/autofs@linux.kernel.org/msg08470.html shows a patch where this was added to a spec file in addition to the modification of the auto.master file.

Fixed in autofs-5.0.7-6.mga4 in Cauldron.

I've also fixed it in SVN for Mageia 2 and Mageia 3.  I don't see a need to issue an update for this minor issue, but if we issue any future updates for autofs, it'll get fixed then.
