Hi,

I would like to update liferea to 1.8.6 from 1.8.4, it's only bugfix release and it fix an important bug related to Write Ahead Log growing without limit and taking hundred of megabytes after hours.

Updated liferea 1.8.6 fix bugs related to database and display

   Liferea after 1.8.2 and before 1.8.6 had a bug which cause WAL to 
   grow endlessly, taking some hundred megabytes of disk spaces after some hour.

   Fix some glitches related to display of list and search folder in reduced mode
   
   Fix for title matching in search folder

QA can you please test and hopefully validate this update.

You don't have to wait multiple hours for the WAL file growing, it should never be greater than something like 5MB and the size exceed this value within seconds after launch when the bug is present. 
The WAL file is located in $HOME/.liferea_1.8/liferea.db-wal

arf, to be forgiven, I tested in mga2 64bits O:)

before:

$ du .liferea_1.8/liferea.db-wal 
21M	.liferea_1.8/liferea.db-wal
(7 news)

it was something like 50 with an import of a feed list.

after:
$ du .liferea_1.8/liferea.db-wal 
1,1M	.liferea_1.8/liferea.db-wa

Ok for me.

Before update:
$ du .liferea_1.8/liferea.db-wal
22M     .liferea_1.8/liferea.db-wal

This is after refreshing about 3 times.


After update:
$ du .liferea_1.8/liferea.db-wal
1,1M    .liferea_1.8/liferea.db-wal

This is also after refreshing about 3 times.

I guess this can now be validated. Somebody else please do this, as I have no idea how to check if this is affected by Bug 2317. Nothing else needs to be checked, see Comment 1 for Advisory.
