Description Kristoffer Grundström 2012-06-01 13:08:46 CEST
The translations need to be translated in some program & XXE is the only known program that i18n-teams use to translate XML-files with.

There are already built package for Mageia, but can only be installed from a link on the official wiki-page.

It is true it is used by doc team, it would be nice if an exception could be made and it could go in 2/updates

Any idea on making some sort of port like MiB does for Mandriva?

I don't understand your question. Would that make it legal?

There is nothing we'll do if the license forbids it.

Comment 6 Kristoffer Grundström 2012-06-02 21:15:17 CEST
If the license doesn't permit it, then why do I see a new version released in form of this file:

http://www.xmlmind.net/xmleditor/_download/xxe-perso-5_2_1.tar.gz

What is it used for if not to create a release.

It is the source for *individuals* to use to build the *personal edition* for *personal* use.

I packaged it for ease of installation for the doc team *only*.

Kristoffer please don't re-open this or I will remove the package.

I haven't done anything to this bug.
