Description of problem:

The installation of gnome3 with the DVD in mageia2 miss completly some package, since it use the task-minimal a lot of package was not installed.
This one seems not a bug since in the same with kde. But with this desktop the install is complete.

With gnome, caribou is missing, that make gdm or gnome-shell crash every time, same for gnome-online-account or gnome-screenshot which is useful but not installed as default

An update:

gnome-screenshot is installed by default now (pre 3 alpha 1, 4th build), I don't know if that changed recently though sorry. gnome-online-account is not installed but I can configure an msn account in telepathy and see it as connected in the notification menu, top right, not sure if that is the same thing.

Bug 5875 (caribou) is still valid, enabling the on screen keyboard causes a crash back to gdm.

I've recently added various gnome packages to the various groups, see mageia-dev.

Basically if you select GNOME + Office group, you should get gnome-documents, etc. This is new for beta 1.
