related to https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/6629? About the noise I mentioned in comment 0, moving the mouse sometimes helps stopping it... till the next song. Any clue? I installed vlc-2.0.3-2.mga2.tainted which is currently in Update Testing and it fixes the audio sync problem. No regression found so far. (In reply to Frédéric Buclin from comment #3) > I installed vlc-2.0.3-2.mga2.tainted which is currently in Update Testing > and it fixes the audio sync problem. No regression found so far. I take that back. The problem is still present. From the release notes for VLC 2.0.5, it seems that this new version fixes audio sync problems with Pulseaudio, which could be the problem I'm seeing. *** Bug 8279 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** CC:
