kdm login screen
Sorry for the delay.
The system got installed by network install two weeks before mga2 release.
I intended to do a fresh install but i am still swamped for a while more...
Will do a fresh install later and if problem persist also try other login managers
kde team, something for you ? CC:
(none) =>
balcaen.john, lmenut Could you provide us the size of the /usr/share/mga/background/default.jpg ? I guess it's in fact probably related to bug #763 since kdm is using the default.jpg as background (so not kde fault but rather mageia-theme package). The desktop does not show this issue since we did workaround it by using a kde background package which provides several background resolution & let kde to choose the correct one automatically (it's not possible for kdm :/ ) 425 kbyte, same as that one labeled 1900x1440 There is not one labeled 1600x1200 in that folder. Sorry by size i mean resolution. /usr/share/mga/background/default.jpg is a link pointing to /usr/share/mga/background/Mageia-Default-1920x1440.jpg which i verified to be 1920x1440 image size (sorry i see i typed 1900 instead of 1920 in last post) So the resolution is not « correct » since you need a 1600*1200. As said initially the problem lies in the symlink generation so mageia-theme. ok so a duplicate, thanks *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 763 *** Status:
