Description Romain d'Alverny 2012-05-22 23:51:22 CEST
We publish the list of existing, in sync mirrors through http://mirrors.mageia.org/api/mageia.2.i586.list (for Mageia 2 here).

Could we add an attribute "primary=1" to the matching mirrors listed there?

I'm not sure it's the best solution, but here's my use case: on the very release days, there's a huge demand of torrents. All mirrors are immediately in sync (secondary ones and further). So many users currently get randomly redirected to mirrors listed in above list, which is not up-to-date regarding torrents.

The point here would be to redirect users only to primary mirrors, which are more likely sooner in sync, to get those torrents. But for that, I need a specific attribute.
