Description Dave Hodgins 2012-05-22 15:53:36 CEST
Currently, after installing from a live cd, the first boot tries
to start downloading the hdlists from a mirror, without explaining
what it's doing, getting the user's permission, or providing a way
for the user to skip/postpone this step, if they know internet
access is not available.

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
marja

Still current with Mageia-5-beta3-x86_64-DVD. If net connection is not available it will time out but this doesn't seem to be appropriate to me. It only seems to happen with a live install so is this an issue for the live people?
